Welcome to Calico High School!!!
Calico High School provides an alternative to traditional high school for students that need a little more flexibility. They have the opportunity to work at their own pace in the courses they need in order to graduate. The only 'conditions' are finishing their class within 6 weeks and maintaining at least a 70%. Of course, some of the kids need a little more time, some can finish more than 1 class in 6 weeks.
By now, you are aware that our school hours have changed. Calico students now attend school from 7:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. It's very important to encourage your child to do as much work as possible in that 3 hours that they are here. If there is internet access at home, they can also work at home. As a matter of fact, they can work anywhere there is internet service, 24 hours a day!
